Advocating for a just, green, democratic Ukraine
Rozviy emerged as an initiative from Ukraine in 2023 after the 2022 russian full-scale invasion and the subsequent global campaign for the embargo on russian fossil fuels and the need for an urgent phase-out of fossil fuels as the source of the climate crisis and wars.
In 2024, we are a registered youth organisation in Ukraine led by young women who have a vision for a sustainable reconstruction that is fossil free, community-led and has social justice at the heart.

Ukrainian youth are a hugely important force in driving societal transformation towards a more democratic Ukraine. We aim to create opportunities for young people to engage in policy dialogue around climate action through our women-led community.

We are working on connecting young women to female leaders in the field of climate to support the next generation of climate advocates across all sectors that work towards intersectional policies made to safeguard our future.
Building solidarity across the regional climate movement 🌍
The Eastern European climate movement is about creating connections for collective power in a region that understands the impact of fossil autocracies on our countries. The perspectives of Ukrainians are essential for decolonising our vision of a sustainable future.
